Day 1: Overview of artificial intelligence management systems (AIMS) and ISO/IEC 42001

Day 2: AIMS implementation and certification assessment 

Assessment

The ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation exam fulfills the criteria set by the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) and encompasses the following competency areas:

Domain 1: Core principles and concepts of an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)

Domain 2: Artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)

Accreditation

Upon passing the assessment, candidates may apply for the “PECB Certificate Holder in ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation” designation. For additional details on ISO/IEC 42001 certifications and the PECB accreditation procedure, refer to the Certification Rules and Policies.

General

  • The cost of certification and examination is included in the training program fee.
  • Participants will receive comprehensive course materials featuring over 200 pages of content, including practical case studies, exercises, and knowledge checks.
  • An attendance certificate valued at 14 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued to those who complete the training program.
  • Candidates who finish the training but do not pass the initial assessment are permitted one free retake within 12 months of the first exam date.
