Participants will learn how to:

  • Work with text frames and graphics in Adobe InDesign.
  • Employ tools for editing text and graphics.
  • Create ornamental text effects.
  • Link text boxes in a logical flow.
  • Create your own library of useful tools.
  • Create custom styles, character symbols, graphics, fonts, and colors.
  • Save time by using tools for quick switching between created styles.
  • Create patterns for repetitive projects.
  • Work with colors across various palettes.
  • Work with multi-page documents.
  • Number pages and set up sections.
  • Manage externally linked files.
  • Print the document.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with vector and raster graphics is helpful but not required.
